A lone tree grows in the meadow, A storm closing in around it. The tree stands tall and proud, Oblivious to the danger approaching.
Violently the storm breaks, Wind, rain, hail, lightning. Yet still the tree stands proud, Branches strong against the malestrom.
The storm strikes with great fury, Lightning blights the tree. It's proud trunk split in twain, The charred tree wilts.
The clouds clear away, The fury of the storm satisfied. But with new sky comes new life, The tree now two, no


Mind's Prison "What darkness is this?" That was the first thought of the wolf when he awoke. There was nothing. His keen yellow eyes could discern nothing in the blackness. His nose picked up no scents. There was no sound. He stood and walked carefully until he ran into what could only be a wall. Finding a corner, he began to explore as best he could his new surroundings. The place was small. Rain When I Die The storm broke, heavy clouds freeing themselves of their burden. A lonely figure walking down a dark, empty street pulled his overcoat closer about him, trying in vain to shut out the downpour. A flash and loud crack caused the black wolf to stare up dourly at the sky. Curse this weather he thought. I hate this time of year. As if the sky knew his thoughts, another flash and crack punctuated his sentiment. If it could talk, the storm would tell him just what it thought of him as well.
